Citrus and Allied Essences Ltd. was founded in New York in 1933 by Charles Pisano. We are in our third generation as a family-owned and managed company. For the last 73 years, we have diversified and expanded our product line from essential oils to include oleoresins, extracts and natural and synthetic (nature identical) aromatic chemicals.
From the beginning, Citrus and Allied has committed itself to delivering the finest flavor and fragrance ingredients, and our insistence on quality is evident in our manufactured and processed materials. Our careful selection of worldwide suppliers ensures the reliability, continuity and quality of products that meet the high standards of our customers.
A global organization, Citrus and Allied has a network of representatives in Western Europe, South America and the Far East. In 1995 we opened a sales office in Van Kleek Hills, Ontario to provide better service for our Canadian customers. Citrus and Allied Essences de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. was established in 1999 to service the growing market for flavor and fragrance ingredients in Mexico and Central America. We also carry inventory in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the same time, we opened an office in Hong Kong to serve our customers in China.
Our products are properly documented, including Specifications, Certificates of Analysis, Material Safety Data Sheets, Kosher and Halal certificates.
