Electronic Health Plans , Inc.

http://www.electronichealthplans.com

We also provide a menu of a-la-carte services (and we even create the bridging software as required) to assure a seamless fit between our Auto-Adjudication system and our customers' other operations. The information returned to our customers includes standard reports, which we generate as well as data, which are electronically formatted to our customers' specifications. From the data we return to them they can generate reports on systems of their own choosing; write checks, correspondence, EOBs, Remittance Advices, etc. They can examine and cross tabulate the information in the claims data; measure medical practice patterns, adjust rates, initiate case management procedures, and more. Our system is entirely customized to your specific needs. Because every facet of our OSP process is completely customized to the specifications of each of our customers' customers, and because it is all reduced to computer code, it is very easy for us to accommodate state-specific mandates, date-sensitive changes in benefit designs and rates, and other fine-grained requirements. We make you HIPAA-compliant ... for free. Our system is 100% HIPAA-compliant, and exceeds all current and all anticipated privacy and security mandates of federal and state regulators. Plus, we are the only claims auto-adjudication service recognized by the American Association of Health Plans as a "Solution Provider" to its more than 1,000 members nationwide. You will get unprecedented Customer Service tools. From a Customer Service perspective, our OSP system will equip you with another invaluable resource that no other system can provide. As claims flow through our program, the Data Support System keeps a complete record of every phase. Included are images of every claim and every attachment plus a plain-text narrative of the process and the rules the computer used to adjudicate the claim. Through password-protected portals, your Customer Service representatives can access this record. They can provide a patient or provider with the specific details and status of any element of the claim, and they can add notes to the record regarding the specifics of the inquiry. As a result, regardless of the geographic location of the representative, they have immediate access to the complete record of every claim the system has processed. They can respond to the inquiry and add notes about the conversation. If, subsequently the patient or provider calls again and gets a different rep (even in a different city), that rep will have access to exactly the same information as the first rep - including the notes made in the record by the first rep - and will be able to respond instantly and consistently to the caller. There are several added benefits to our unique Customer Service system. The system has a multi-level encryption scheme and is totally compliant with all current and anticipated HIPAA-mandated privacy and security protections. It even makes an automatic record of everyone who has opened the file including their password as well as the date, time, and duration of their being in the file - whether the visitor chooses to make additional notes in the file or not. You will be able to supply providers with passwords of their own which will allow them to check on the status and detail of each claim they have sent you. Ultimately, individual patients can also be given discrete security clearances which admit them to the files of their claims only. This feature, too, is uniquely HIPAA-compliant in protecting privacy while granting individual (but secured) access to a patient's own files - while maintaining a complete and failsafe record of precisely who has seen the contents. Because with the EHP system, claims will be processed much faster and because complete records are kept in this discrete manner, you will be able to significantly reduce the number of Customer Service representatives you need to respond to inquiries. The ultimate results are lower costs for you and higher satisfaction for your customers. A limited access arrangement can be programmed to permit "read only" capabilities for other subcontractors you may wish to use for services such as subrogation investigation and recovery activities. Easier access to better organized and more thorough data will equip them to do a better job for you. That can translate into more money for you at the bottom line as well. Our customers are very important to us. We are not a big, old company. We really are a product of the Twenty-First Century. Although our break-through system is already proven and successfully adjudicating claims for some of the biggest names in the health care insurance, we are still a young and lean operation. If you choose to do business with us, you will have the personal attention of the managing principals of EHP. You will always feel like you are one of our most important customers. And you will enjoy an attentiveness and responsiveness from us that no one else will give you. All we ask is that you keep an open mind. Everyone else uses technology to speed up the old ways of adjudicating claims. We saw that as the equivalent of paving over well-worn old foot paths. We took the super highway approach and created the shortest, fastest route from Point A to Point B. Actually, the technology we use is time-tested and well-proven. It is the application of that technology using modular, robust hardware combined with our unique and proprietary software that lets us do for you what no one else can do. So, you get the benefits of innovative and creative thinking backed up by the reassurances of durable and dependable systems. Eventually, everyone will adjudicate claims the way we do today. We are pleased to be the first to offer you the opportunity to do it this new and better way. We see those older systems as early candidates to join the ranks of rotary dial telephones and leaded gasoline. They were great for their time. But their time has passed.
