Security Planning Group Inc

http://www.securityplanninggroup.com

We at Security Planning Group, Inc., are a group of legal professionals who are constantly striving to expand the professional and public knowledge about financial self-defense plans to guard against Governmental Security, the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Health Services, Hospitals and Nursing Homes, which are just a short list of the potential threats to your family's financial security and your own personal rights. We specialize in preparing documents that guarantee you the right to maintain your personal dignity and wishes in the event you cannot make those decisions for yourself, without unnecessary governmental intrusion into your private affairs. The American Dream can turn into a nightmare if ordinary people do not take the necessary steps to implement a basic financial self-defense plan that requires your individual wishes to be carried out in the event you cannot make such decisions for yourself. By virtue of rights granted to all of us under Federal and State laws we can protect ourselves from government and hospital abuses and maintain control over our finances and our personal dignity. We take an active roll in speaking to new legislation for elders and advocate the rights of individuals to be free to make personal choices free of governmental oversight. Besides advocating for the use of Health Care Directives and Financial Powers of Attorney, we handle Trust issues and have litigated Trust and Probate matters. Our entire staff is continually trained through continuing legal education courses and attend regular seminars and meetings on local and national levels. Joseph Adelizzi is General Counsel for Security Planning Group, Inc. He has been in practice since 1984 and has litigated cases for some of the nations largest insurance companies. He is admitted to the California Supreme Court, State Bar of California; United States District Courts, Central District and Southern District; United States Tax Court, all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

New Mexico Wilderness Alliance

http://www.nmwild.org

While the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance primarily focuses on local issues, we have been engaged with the Arctic Refuge campaign for several years. Many people believe that the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is the last great wilderness in America and that if we lose this area we will ultimately lose a piece of ourselves. That is why our organization has written articles, given presentations and continues to talk to our members about this wild landscape. In 2005, long-time Arctic activist, Ken Madsen presented "Malkom the Birder Boy" at NMWA's Public Lands Rally. Since then he has become a friend of NMWA, presenting at the 2006 Wilderness Conference, and has worked with activists in NM to help create more awareness for the Refuge throughout New Mexico.

Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto, based in Washington, D.C., is the nation's leading law firm for whistleblower protection. We stand up in court for those who speak out against unjust and illegal practices on the job. As experts in employee litigation, our attorneys focus on the many complex statutes that today are at issue in whistleblower cases, including the qui tam provision of the False Claims Act, which encourages workers to report government contract fraud. With clients from both the public and private sectors, we also pursue actions involving wrongful dismissal, the American worker's right to privacy and free speech, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Freedom of Information Act, to name a few. Founded in 1988, KKC has won numerous landmark decisions, rewriting workplace law while earning millions of dollars in damages for our clients. The firm has successfully litigated a series of prominent cases, generating widespread recognition via the national press. Meanwhile, our volunteer efforts on behalf of lesser-known whistleblowers and the crucial role they play in a free society have earned us the respect of our legal peers. The attorneys at KKC support all those who serve the larger good by revealing work-related assaults on the nation's health and defense, from government malfeasance to the corporate disregard for nuclear and environmental regulations.
