FLORENTIA is the ancient name of the city of Florence. It is also the oldest organization offering private walking tours and museum visits in Florence and other destinations in Tuscany.
Founders Simone Gaddini and Simone Anichini and a small team of selected docents share a common vision: offering a highly educational experience of the art, history and culture of Florence and Tuscany through private walking tours of the highest quality, while taking care in respecting the dignity of their native city.
We believe that the most authentic way to experience and understand the heritage of Florence and Tuscany is in the company of a local scholar, walking through streets which are alive with art and history, immersing in the architecture and learning about the life and customs of Tuscan people past and present.

We cover the architecture, art and history of the place, but do not fail to integrate it with today's most important cultural and social issues.
