TRADING FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS, Sussex University Bookshop is one of the largest independent book retailers in the South of England. It is situated at the heart of the University's campus, and currently provides a comprehensive service to a thriving academic community which numbers over 9000 students, 840 faculty and 615 affiliated staff. Over the years, as the bookshop has expanded, it has welcomed and actively seeks business from outside the confines, of academia. We are now keen market players in book retailing and count amongst our regular customers - libraries, schools, colleges, hospital libraries, professional institutions, academic institutions, government bodies and corporations around the world.
Sussex University bookshop is recognised as a primary library supplier, to date supplying its own extensive library, University of Brighton, and the Herstmonceux library. Our international accounts include Queen's Library (Canada), Alsur Liberia (Spain), and Master D'Etudes (Paris/Moscow).
Since the bookshop's extension in 1995, we have established an international mail-order service which provides a fast and efficient service to over 3500 customers overseas and at home. Using modern technology and up-to-date book software, we are experienced in providing full and detailed information on books in print.
