Pegasus was founded in July 1985 to maximize the potential of persons with disabilities. Today 36 horses and ponies carry 190 riders aged from 3 to 73 to new levels of mobility and self-esteem. We also serve at-risk youth and provide learning opportunities for school and 4H groups on our 120-acre farm.
Pegasus Farm is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is fully accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) that sets safety and quality standards for therapeutic riding nationwide and the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA). All Pegasus instructors are both NARHA and CHA certified.
