Since 1986, the Park County Crisis Center, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, has provided emergency shelter and a 24-hour crisis hotline to women and children in Park County and surrounding mountain communities, including but not limited to: Conifer, Evergreen, Kittredge, Morrison, and Pine.
In 2003, the Crisis Center provided 2,074 nights of shelter to women and children.
Our Sheltering Hope Capital Campaign is to purchase a new shelter to keep this critical service available. We found the perfect building and now we need your help to keep the only shelter in our community!
