Cedar Ridge Farm is a diversified family agricultural operation that has evolved to primarily focus on Plant Production and sales for the home gardener and market gardener. Our specialty is herbs and perennials; however, we also grow and carry flowering annuals of every size, shape and form as well as an extensive selection of vegetables.
Located in the piedmont region of Upstate South Carolina we are ideally located for growing a wide range of plant material. Usually our winters are not too harsh and we can grow some sort of plants outdoors year round. For directions to our farm click here or use the link at the top of the page.
Our farm was established in 1989 as a pig farm. In 1993 we constructed our first greenhouse to help us to produce vegetable transplants for our vegetable production. Since that time the growth of this segment of our business has astounded us to say the least. This original house has been joined by three more greenhouses and a great deal of outdoor growing area.
Needless to say the addition of these greenhouses and outdoor growing area created a need for more help than we could provide with our family. We are very fortunate to have a very capable and enjoyable staff helping us. To learn more about our staff click on the link below.
There is always work going on at this farm. It always is amazing how far ahead plants are scheduled, rooted, seeded, planted and maintained before they are sold.
