Founded in 1994, Intech 21, Inc. is a privately held company, which designs, develops and manufactures radio frequency based communication technologies, products and systems for diverse range of control and monitoring applications.
Our mission is to create products and systems for wide variety of applications based on in-house developed methods and technologies. Those systems will not require dedicated communication wiring, and will be simple and inexpensive to install and maintain. Intech 21, Inc. is the only manufacturer in the world today, whose spread spectrum power line carrier products and systems have been installed and have been operating for past five years in electrically harsh environments as the New York City Transit Authority.
Our commitment to research and development in the areas of wireless and power line carrier products and systems produced several patented technologies, which are aimed at simplicity, reduced system costs and unparalleled reliability needed by ever increasing automation market. We specialize in control and monitoring of temperature, pressure, flow, fire safety, security, vital sign monitoring and tracking, and other process and safety signals.
Intech 21, Inc. has pioneered a fully addressable token ring method for communication over power lines. This patented method can be utilized for numerous applications, using modular sensor interface components. Our systems utilize existing building/facility's power lines to interconnect processes and equipment into a local area network. Standard serial interfaces implemented over wired and wireless physical layers allow connecting of multiple systems into a wide area network.
Our development efforts extend into web-enabled, local and remote server software systems which allow monitoring and control of the facilities from anywhere at anytime.
