Biotron Limited (Biotron) is an Australia-based company. The principal activities of the Company are funding and management of intermediate and applied biotechnology research and development projects. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008 (fiscal 2008), the Company completed the Phase I clinical trial of the Company’s antiviral drug BIT225. BIT225 is an investigational, orally-administered, antiviral compound in development by Biotron for treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) infections.
