Rozinn Electronics , Inc.

http://www.rozinn.com

Rozinn Electronics was established in 1979 by cofounders Mark Rosoff and Karl Ziemann. The company continues to be a privately held corporation and has been successful in business for more than 20 years, with its manufacturing and sales office in Glendale, New York. Rozinn has Sales Offices in Massachusetts, Texas and Florida, plus a Sales and Service office for Europe in Herten, Germany, and an extensive worldwide network of distributors. For many years, Rozinn sold Holter recorders manufactured by other Holter companies. Our years of repairing other manufacturers' recorders paid off when Rozinn decided to design its own recorder. Rozinn's design engineers knew how to optimize the various components to manufacture a rugged, reliable, state-of-the-art recorder. In 1991, ROZINN introduced its "RZ151" series of cassette Holter recorders. These recorders were quickly recognized for their high value and reliability. In the intervening years Rozinn became the largest supplier of cassette Holter recorders in the world, selling more than 30,000 recorders. Rozinn's latest cassette recorder innovation is the world's first "Energy-Efficient" recorder, which allows 5, 24-hour tests to be recorded with one standard 9-volt alkaline battery. Standard "off-the-shelf" rechargeable 9-volt batteries can also be used. Rechargeable batteries provide up to 1,000 uses and virtually eliminate battery cost as a budget consideration. Rozinn's newest digital recorder, the Cardio ID+, which is much smaller than digital recorders we have sold in the past, incorporates both removable flash card memory and an LCD display for easy operation. Our new recorder is capable of recording 3 channels of ECG with pacemaker spike detection. In 1993, Rozinn introduced the "Holter for Windows®" Analysis System. The Holter for Windows System combines a highly regarded arrhythmia detection algorithm with the latest in high-performance PC technology. The Microsoft Windows operating system makes the system extremely easy to use. The Holter for Windows System has proven beyond any doubt that a high-performance, accurate, and flexible Holter system can be produced at a very reasonable cost. In the past Rozinn utilized several outside companies to bring the Holter for Windows system to market. As a demonstration of our commitment to the market and the product, Rozinn has made a major investment in technology and personnel to ensure that the Holter for Windows+ product, and other products we are developing, will have the features and pricing that make sense in today's challenging market conditions. Today, Holter for Windows Systems are being employed in the broadest possible range of Holter applications including doctor's offices, clinics, scanning services, community hospitals, university medical centers and advanced pharmaceutical and bio-device research centers around the world. Rozinn proudly numbers among its satisfied customers institutions such as The University of Moscow in Russia, Dartmouth-Hitchcock University Medical Center in New Hampshire, Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, University of Colorado Children's Hospital in Colorado, Cleveland Clinic (Florida), Premier Research Worldwide in Pennsylvania, The University of Rome in Italy, and The Hospital of Zhejiang Medical University in China. In 2007, ScottCare Corporation acquired Rozinn Electronics. "We are very pleased to welcome the customers, employees and vendors of Rozinn to ScottCare," said Ken Zajaczkowski, General Manager of The ScottCare Corporation. "We are excited about the opportunities created by adding Rozinn's leading portfolio of diagnostic products and distribution network. ScottCare can now provide products across the spectrum of cardiac care - diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, meeting the needs of cardiology customers worldwide." The acquisition strengthens ScottCare's position in non-invasive and diagnostic cardiology device markets around the world. ScottCare will accelerate development, marketing and support for Rozinn's diagnostic product suite including Holter for Windows+Ô, Pacemaker and Event Monitoring Products. In addition, ScottCare will expand the availability of its leading cardiac rehab telemetry and ECP therapy products outside North America through Rozinn's extensive international network of dealers. Rozinn key personnel, including Mark Rosoff, Karl Ziemann, Sneh Merchant and George Falcone, will continue to play a key roll in the further development and growth of Rozinn's diagnostic product line.
