MTI specialises in developing and manufacturing analytical instruments for detecting very low concentrations of heavy metals in water, soil, food and other matrices. Lab 21 is a company committed to environmental and healthcare diagnostics. In April 2005 Lab 21's environmental division acquired the assets of MTI (Monitoring Technologies International plc). MTI specialises in heavy metal analysis using the anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) technique and has a worldwide reputation for the quality, reliability and ease of use of their instruments. The technique allows for the analysis of heavy metals in soils, water and other matrices and can produce results down to low parts per billions (ppb) analysis in as little as 30 seconds.
