HyClone is a global manufacturer of sera, liquid and powdered media, sterile liquids, and sterile liquid handling systems to support research and production of biopharmaceuticals. HyClone, headquartered in Logan, Utah, is owned by Fisher Scientific International. Logan locations include manufacturing facilities for sera, dry powdered media, liquid media, process liquids, and disposable BioProcess Containers (BPCs) as well as warehouses and a main distribution center. Research and Product Development as well as Design Engineering are also centered in Logan. Other North American operations include an automated BPC manufacturing site in Novato, California and multiple blood collection and serum processing sites at abattoirs throughout the United States. HyClone serum collection and processing are also done in Canada. Global markets are serviced through serum processing sites in New Zealand and Australia and a liquid media and BPC production site in Cramlington, England. International sales and distribution offices and warehouses are located in Aalst, Belgium; Hong Kong; and Beijing, China. HyClone is registered with the US Food and Drug Administration as a Class I Medical Device Manufacturer and operates in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements as described in 21 C.F.R. §820 et seq. HyClone is also certified as an ISO 9001:2000 supplier.
