The Neon Museum

http://www.neonmuseum.org

"The Neon Museum's mission is to collect, preserve, study and exhibit neon signs and associated artifacts to inspire educational and cultural enrichment for diverse members of our international community." Our collection ranges from the 1940s to present day. Some pieces are restored as public art and mapped for our walking Tour. Others are kept in our Boneyard which is available by advance private appointment only. Educational programming revolves around history, design and popular culture primarily focused on Las Vegas. We are also extensively involved with the media and film industry as a location for shoots of all types.

Taller Puertorriqueno , Inc.

http://www.tallerpr.org

Taller was established in 1974 by Latino artists and activists in the North Kensington area of Philadelphia. They created a community based graphic arts workshop to provide cultural training alternatives to local youth. Throughout its history, our Workshop has been a vital resource to the barrio and to the region. It is now nationally recognized as a model organization that uses the arts as a vehicle for social change. Taller provides audiences and neighbors with safe facilities, creative outlets for youth, and education programs that underscore our rich Puerto Rican heritage. Our work presents a "first voice" account of our accomplishments as Latinos.
