Juried OnLine Arts Festival

http://www.jolaf.com

The Juried OnLine Arts Festival is a leading WWW showcase for professional fine artists and craftspeople who want more visibility on the Internet for the presentation and/or selling of their original handcreated work. JOLAF was established in 1996 by artists who had been exhibiting together at art & craft shows for a number of years, and who recognized the emerging digital technology as a viable marketing opportunity with tremendous longterm potential. We remain open to all professional artists/craftspeople doing exceptional art and craft, and who have their own independent websites. WHAT IS JOLAF's MISSION? Our singular purpose is to directly connect JOLAF exhibitors with customers interested in original art/handmade craft, collectors, gallery/shop owners, and show directors in as prompt & efficient a manner as possible. HOW VISIBLE IS JOLAF ON THE WWW? Because we have been active since 1996, we are one of the best positioned online art galleries on the entire World Wide Web. At this point, there are thousands of supporters of the arts around the WWW who have included links on their own sites which are pointing to JOLAF.com. HOW ARE NEW EXHIBITOR LISTINGS PRESENTED? We present you in the same way as all other JOLAF exhibitors. When someone clicks on your name, they are taken directly to your website from: [Artists Gallery] ... Alphabetical listing of your name (hyperlinked to your URL), city, state and a description of your artwork (about 15-20 words); [Select by Medium] ... You are also cross-indexed with the same information in your medium category so customers can discover your studio even if they are not looking for you specifically, but simply want to view the work of artists in your field.

Abilities Arts Festival

http://www.abilitiesartsfestival.org

Abilities Arts Festival is a disability arts organization that showcases artistic excellence by artists with disabilities. Abilities Arts Festival uses art as a vehicle for transforming public perceptions about people with disabilities. Abilities Arts Festival produces multidisciplinary arts festivals that include art exhibitions, the performing arts, films, workshops, panels and networking opportunities, as well as programming designed primarily for children with disabilities. The festival uses dynamic and powerful artistic presentations to positively impact mainstream attitudes so that people with disabilities are seen not as passive receivers of services, but as individuals who make significant economic, artistic and social contributions. Abilities Arts Festival promotes a culturally rich, diverse arts sector that is inclusive of people with disabilities; one that is enhanced through their participation. From its proud beginnings as a project of the Canadian Abilities Foundation, to its 2006 incorporation as an separate and independent not-for profit organization and its new relationship with Agora Foundation, Abilities Arts Festival has been providing the stages and exhibition venues that artists with disabilities must have access to in order for their work to be seen and for their talents to be recognized. The festival has been providing artists and aspiring artists with disabilities unique networking, learning and mentoring opportunities and has helped ensure children with disabilities have the concrete opportunities to see that the dreams they dream can and indeed do come true. Since 2004, Abilities Arts Festival has been promoting innovation, excellence and participation in the arts by people with disabilities. Abilities Arts Festival has helped open doors and ensures a dynamic and accessible environment where all can participate, experience and enjoy art at its best.

Lakes Art Center

http://www.lakesart.org

The Lakes Art Center was founded in a small, barn-like building, and served as an informal gathering place. The second location had a tree growing out of it and summer breezes blowing in. Started by a group of determined painters, it has struggled, stretched and grown due to the commitment of the community and the dedication of its volunteers and donors. In 1991, the Lakes Art Center moved to its present site, and although its size, location, facilities and capabilities may have changed, its mission remains the same ... to broaden horizons through the arts. The Pearson Lakes Art Center delivers educational programming to students of all ages through instructional classes, lectures and exhibitions; exposes community members to the numerous forms of art including, visual, music, drama, writing and film; serves as an advocate for the arts with partners in the schools and other neighboring organizations; and provides an important outlet for local and regional artists to exhibit and market their work. The Pearson Lakes Art Center is also fortunate to display the Pearson Art Collection. The Pearson Lakes Art Center belongs to the community; it is an additional benefit to living in the area; it exists due to the generosity, vision and hard work of innumerous community members; and it is continually changing, updating and evolving. It is a meeting place, a learning center, a safe harbor, and a creative outlet.

Thunderbird Artists Inc

http://www.thunderbirdartists.com

Thunderbird Artists was founded in 1981 by Judi Combs, President, and is still owned and operated by Judi. She began with small, local shows in Arizona until March of 1992, when she produced her first juried fine art festival in Scottsdale. The overwhelming success of Thunderbird Artists' first festival led to additional festivals in Carefree, Sedona, Denver, Lake Tahoe, Tucson, Colorado and Scottsdale. Over the past 23 years, Thunderbird Artists has produced over 260 fine art events, attracting millions of patrons who share in our love and appreciation for fine art. We are a family run company, made up of Judi's Daughter, Denise Colter, Executive Vice President, Judi's Husband, Roger Combs and their son, Brett Combs, who both play an essential part in producing all of our fine art festivals. Thunderbird Artists isn't a job to our family; it is a passion that plays a central part in all of our lives. Our goal is to provide an outstanding variety of mediums, subject matters, sizes and price ranges that satisfy the desires of each and every patron that strolls through one of our festivals. We want people attending to find something that appeals to their liking and to walk away with special memories of a first class event.
