http://www.franklinparkartscenter.org

FORMED IN 2005, Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center is the citizen advisory and fundraising board dedicated to realizing the Franklin Park Performing & Visual Arts Center dream. Loudoun County is home to a vibrant, talented and dedicated community of playwrights and film makers ... crafts people and painters ... sculptors and musicians ... actors ... and YES!, now opera singers! FFPAC's GOAL is to ensure that the Center's productions, performances, exhibitions and more support these enormously talented people ... that the Center reaches its potential as one of the premier performing and visual arts centers in our region ... and that children and adults of all ages have access to first class art workshops, classes and internships! We believe that experiences with the serious and enduring forms of the arts greatly enrich our lives. If you share that belief ... joins us in realizing the dream! Sedona Arts Center

http://www.sedonaartscenter.com

Sedona Arts Center was Founded in 1958. Join us in celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2008! Inspired by the natural beauty of Sedona, Egyptian sculptor, Nassan Gobran, and a group of local visionaries recognized the need for a place where artists could work and teach together. In 1958, they established Sedona's first art center, "Canyon Kiva." They purchased the old Jordan Apple and Peach Packing Barn - now known as the Art Barn - which quickly became the community's creative and social hub. During the early 60's Sedona was populated by an eclectic group of characters - artists, big city refugees, and entrepreneurs who foresaw the area's potential and participated in its development. Through all the dramatic growth and demographic changes, the Arts Center remained one of the cultural constants - even though it experienced its own series of changes. In 1961, the name was changed to the Sedona Arts Center and officially re-opened with a gala celebration attended by 300 guests. 1994 was the year of expansion with a new building to house an art gallery, additional classroom space, and a community theatre, which had a successful run until 2001. At that time, the mission was redefined to focus primarily on the development of creative talents through the Art School and gallery exhibitions of the visual arts.
