Restland was founded in 1925. In 1935, George Young was named general manager. Six years later, he acquired full ownership of the cemetery. He developed Restland as a beautifully landscaped park with the utilization of in-ground memorial markers. Restland Memorial Park has had over 125,000 interments/entombments and has over 300,000 property owners. Restland's endowment trust fund assures families the cemetery and its beautiful surroundings will be maintained forever.
