Since 1987, F&R has provided services to the Virginia Community College System through its Annual Geotechnical and Environmental Services Contract. F&R personnel have worked on over 100 projects encompassing 30 campus statewide. F&R recently completed a geotechnical exploration and engineering evaluation for the proposed Advanced Technical Center at the Virginia Beach Campus. Construction documents are in progress for this project, and F&R is providing on-going consulting services during preparation of the plans and specifications. For this contract, F&R provides overall management from our Richmond corporate office utilizing the experience of its President, Samuel H. Kirby, Jr., P.E. as Program Manager.
