Construction Project Review Service

http://www.cprs.citysearch.com

Construction Project Review Service is a professional construction monitoring and management firm that oversees any type of development from conception to completion. CPRS' founder and owner, Walter Kettler, has three decades experience not only as an architect, but in construction management and construction monitoring. Walter's expertise is vast and serves either side of the table, working equally well for both lenders and owners. Walter is not daunted by distance, time or project price range. His construction experience, ranging from $250,000 to $150,000,000 projects, includes all of the United States with the exception of North and South Dakota. The CPRS success record is impressive: review and completion of more than 300 projects without any losses. It is Walter Kettler's keen ability to focus and his eye for detail that assures quality work. He assesses the physical needs of the project, performs due diligence analyses, reviews all construction costs, all specifications and soil boring and recommends approval of payment to contractors. "From inception of an idea to completion, I take a very active part. I review every page of every document, construction contracts, and loan agreements so the project can start on solid ground."

GEM Engineering , Inc.

http://www.gemeng.com

GEM Engineering, Inc. (GEM) was founded in 2000 by six exceptional professionals who shared a vision for creating a new engineering consulting firm. The diverse background of the founding members, together with their cumulative century of practice in the fields of geotechnical, environmental and construction materials services, brought together the knowledge, capabilities and clients that allowed GEM to rapidly rise to a leading position among the regional consulting engineering firms. Work during the first year on major projects such as the Hardin County Landfill, the Owensboro Airport, several state correctional facilities, North American Stainless, the Heritage Creek Airport Relocation development, the Commerce Crossings and Cedar Grove commercial developments, the Kentucky Fair and Exposition South Wing Expansion, and the Frazier International History Museum, provided the foundation for growth and stability that continues today. GEM's success has been driven by the personal interest we have in each project and the dedication we show to providing our clients with sound technical solutions and practical methods for implementation in the real world. GEM remains entirely employee owned. Employees who are driven to serve our clients and achieve high technical standards have been extended an opportunity to become owners and help build the future of our firm. In 2005, after five years of operating from a small office/warehouse facility, GEM's growth and operational needs dictated a move to a new location with professionally decorated offices, state of the art computer systems, and a comprehensive soil and material laboratory, including a temperature and humidity controlled concrete curing room capable of storing over 1500 concrete specimens, and a shielded vault for safe, secure storage of nuclear moisture/density gauges. By the end of our seventh year, GEM will have completed nearly 2,000 projects involving geotechnical issues from landslides to heaving shales, environmental issues from farm dumps to UST removal, and materials issues from ultrasonic testing of copper castings to laboratory testing of ferruginous concrete block. Project locations spanned from West Virginia to Illinois and from Indiana to Alabama and Mississippi. The future at GEM is bright with expanding services, a growing staff of technical experts, an enjoyable and challenging work atmosphere, and mutually beneficial relationships with our valued clients.

Giles Engineering Associates , Inc.

http://www.gilesengr.com

In 1976, Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. was founded on the principle of providing true customer service by thoroughly understanding a client's needs and by delivering high-quality engineering services on time and within budget. We still believe in that concept and practice that commitment to professionalism. That is the difference between Giles and other consulting engineering firms. Customer service starts with understanding clients and their needs, concerns, and perspectives. Without this knowledge, the uniqueness of each project is lost and both service and engineering become average. Quality engineering requires careful attention to every project element. It requires an understanding of design details, schedule, and budget. Quality engineering means studying and implementing innovative solutions when project complexities arise. It means having a professional staff that is committed to continuing education and is familiar with state of the art technologies. Quality engineering requires more than having hundreds of offices. Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. believes that quality engineering and client service requires personal attention to every detail. It means performing all services (subsurface drilling, laboratory testing, construction materials testing, and industrial hygiene services) in-house by a dedicated staff. It requires that each office be staffed with qualified professionals (and not just a telephone answering service) and utilize quality equipment. Today, Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. continues to focus on satisfying client expectations. In an industry where professional services are no longer unique and the end product has become "cookie cutter", we invite you to experience what our clients have referred to as The Giles Difference!
