Florida Rural Water Association

http://www.frwa.net

FRWA's engineering assistance is available to serve FRWA members. We have developed a checklist for information needed to start work that you may obtain by clicking here. We are currently working on over 100 projects and have a project backlog over 10 months, but will try to get to you as soon as possible! Please collect ALL the needed information as you prepare to contact us about your project. Our goal / challenge is to help more members, reduce time spent on each project, maintain strict engineering standards and improve performance and quality of work. If it's a regulatory compliance issue, sometimes we can get some breathing space from FDEP until we can work on your project. This also gives them assurance that we are on your team. We want to help FRWA members with engineering services, but we need you to collect and provide detailed information, plans, specification and drawings! When sending us a project the more information you get the faster we can help you. Please, help us help you, but you will need to almost all of the work yourself particularly since you're there and have the data we need. Often we get only a fraction of the needed information -- this wastes valuable time and duplication of effort. One way to measure how committed you are to the project is how much effort you put into getting the information to us. OPTIONS You have several options to obtain the required permit for your system: 1. If you can hire an engineering firm to do the work - you should do so
