PJ Barnes & Associates

http://www.pjbarnes.co.uk

PJ Barnes & Associates is a small, family-based, publishing company established in 1989 with the launch of Lipid Technology journal (which was sold to Wiley-VCH at the end of 2006) and specializing in fats & oils (lipids). It is run by two partners: Dr Peter J. Barnes who worked previously in the food industry, and Janet C. Barnes who was previously a science teacher. In 1999 we also acquired The Oily Press which publishes very popular books on fats & oils and had been established by Dr William W. Christie in 1989. Dr Christie continues as an advisor to The Oily Press. We publish only about one book per year because we are very selective and only produce titles that we believe fill a real need. Each book is published in hardback, and sturdily bound with a laminated cover to ensure maximum durability. When you place an order with us you can be sure of personal attention and a rapid response - we were taking orders from around the world and delivering worldwide long before the rise (and fall) of the dot. com companies! We look forward to hearing from you by e-mail, phone, fax or post.
