(BFCA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nashville-based Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. whose parent company, Bridgestone Corporation, is the world's largest rubber and tire company. BFCA manufactures and markets a broad array of Bridgestone and Firestone brand tires and markets Dayton brand products through a coast-to-coast network of dealers, company-owned stores and distributors. On a global basis, Bridgestone Corporation has major operations in 23 countries. Its consolidated subsidiaries include 209 companies employing more than 89,000 people worldwide. BFCA employs more than 1,900 people across Canada including plants in Joilette, Quebec and Woodstock, Ontario.
