Billabong International Limited is engaged in the wholesaling and retailing of surf, skate and snow apparel and accessories, and the licensing of the Group trademarks to specified regions of the world. The Company is organized on a global basis into geographical segments, which include Australasia, Americas, Europe and Rest of the World. Australasia segment includes Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Americas segment includes the United States of America, Canada, Brazil, Peru and Chile. Europe segment includes France, Germany, England, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria. Rest of the World segment relates to royalty receipts from third party operations. On January 27, 2006, Billabong USA General Partnership (a partnership between Billabong USA Holdings Pty Ltd and Billabong USA Investments Pty Ltd) acquired Nixon Inc.
