Aztech was initially started as a joint venture between Passaretti Geological & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (established 1991) and F. L. Fina, PE PC (established 1992), who already had a history of partnering on projects to coordinate their complementary services. Originally the venture was formed as a dba in 1995, incorporating as Aztech Technologies in 1997. Together at one facility, the three companies currently operate with centralized management and accounting. Both Passaretti Geological & Environmental Consultants, Inc. and Aztech Technologies, Inc. are New York State certified Women Business Enterprises.
At the beginning of 2006, Aztech Technologies moved into its brand new headquarters in Ballston Spa, NY. A combination office, shop, and warehouse, the facility boasts state of the art energy efficiency, utilizing ground-source geothermal heating and cooling, advanced lighting and other energy saving measures. It is our way of reducing our footprint on the environment as we help our clients reduce theirs. This location allows us to serve our client's facilities throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and beyond.
Aztech Technologies has a committed and dynamic work force. We pride ourselves on the fact that the majority of our people have been with us for the majority of our years of existence. Firms who typically turn over employees at a rapid rate cannot duplicate the depth of experience that our people bring to your project. In addition, having "hands-on" personnel as our company leaders, people who actually are experts due to their past and continuing experience in the field as well as their education, makes us fundamentally different.
Our founders are still our principals: Mary L. Passaretti, President and Senior Hydrogeologist, and Fil L. Fina III, PE, Vice President and Engineering Manager. Our senior staff includes Terrence Bohn, Vice President of Design, Matt Darcangelo, PE, Chief Operating Officer, and Randy Hoose, PG, Senior Hydrogeologist. Additional staff includes geologists, engineers, and environmental technicians. Our dedicated and highly talented office support staff complement our field and technical personnel allowing us to provide the top level service our clients deserve. Utilizing our full array of state of the art equipment for environmental remediation, drilling, dewatering and treatment, sampling and testing, Aztech personnel stand ready to assist you with your particular needs.
