  • For over 20 years, Swartz Moving & Storage has been providing high-value electronics transportation to companies in Oregon's 'Silicon Forest'. In 2002 alone, Swartz moved over 3,000 high-value shipments to destinations around the world. Our fleet of 16 custom built high-cube vans - driven by some of the most experienced operators in the industry - offer the answer to any transportation challenge you face. All vans are equipped with air-ride suspension systems, designed to smooth the bumps while on the road, and oversize side doors (up to twelve feet wide) to accommodate even the largest of tools. Swartz also offers the largest fleet of climate vans in the Northwest, and one of the largest domiciled on the West coast. Our 48'-50' climate trailers can maintain the close temperature and humidity tolerances many products require. Additionally, our state-of-the-art climate control units are equipped to provide a hard copy 'in-transit' temperature report prior to opening the doors at destination. A secondary recording device is located within the trailer for added peace of mind. Beyond air-ride suspensions and climate control, all of Swartz's vans are equipped with 'bull-rings' and logistics bars to secure even the most difficult load. Many vans are also equipped with self-leveling Milwaukee jacks or hi-capacity lift gates to ease loading and unloading at challenging sites. Swartz's fleet is available for your transportation needs, to or from any point in the contiguous 48 states. Furthermore, we make regular runs up and down the West coast, offering tremendous flexibility for both exclusive and LTL shipments. Whether your needs are as simple as a local move into Swartz's exclusive climate controlled warehouse, or as complex as the overseas air transport of a complete FAB operation, Swartz Moving & Storage and United Van Lines are the safe, reliable and on-time solution to your company's transportation needs.
