We operate in all areas of the world, export, import and cross trades (where goods do not start or finish their journey in the UK.) The majority of our core business utilises 20', 40' and 40' High Cube ISO standard dry van containers. In some European trades we also have access to specialised equipment such as 30' and 45' containers and we also can arrange shipments in specialised equipment such as open top containers when required.
Our short sea services encompass the whole of Europe and Mediterranean arrivals and departures. The majority of the cargo moved is in full loads, but multi collection, multi drop consignments can be performed by special arrangement.
We have a policy of providing each of our commercial clients with an account handler whose priority is to get to know our Clients needs and strive towards achieving 100% satisfaction.
In addition to our HQ in East Cornwall, Neptune operates 4 regional sales offices covering:
· Manchester, North Wales, the North of England and Scotland
· Midlands and central Wales
· London, East Anglia and the South East
· Bristol, South Wales and the South West.
This enables us to have a local presence throughout the most of mainland UK and if needed a representative can be with you at very short notice to discuss freight management, rates and services, insurance and any other freight related issues that you have.
In 2005 Neptune became authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to sell marine freight insurance, and we are happy to discuss potential freight risks and liabilities, while at the same time minimizing the chances of claims arising by maintaining world-class standards in operational integrity. This ethos pervades the whole organization.
