  • The Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM) is a professional organization dedicated to becoming the primary information resource for legislators, other elected officials, and their staffs regarding community association management issues. Its formation was the result of meetings held by the principals of approximately thirty of Arizona's community management companies. AACM was incorporated in October of 2002. The growth of the community association management industry in Arizona has created the need for community management companies to have representation at State Legislature. The Legislature's lack of information on HOAs and association management was the primary impetus for creating a professional association that would allow management companies to combine their resources to hire a lobbyist firm. AACM has selected the firm Steptoe & Johnson as its lobbyist. Through principled leadership, AACM wishes to promote a positive understanding of the contribution made by community association management companies to developing and established neighborhoods. Member companies of AACM are required to sign a ten-point Code of Ethics, which requires member firms and their representatives to demonstrate the highest level of honesty, integrity, and capability to their clients, other firms, service providers, and fellow AACM members.
