Olympic Steel, Inc. is a United States-based steel service center. The Company is engaged in direct selling and distribution of volumes of processed carbon, coated and stainless flat-rolled sheet, coil, and plate steel products. It operates as an intermediary between steel producers and manufacturers that require processed steel for their operations. The Company provides services and functions that form an integral component of the customer’s supply chain management and inventory levels. The processing services include cutting-to-length, slitting, and shearing, blanking, tempering, plate burning, precision machining, welding, fabrication and painting of steel parts. The Company operates with 15 processing and distribution facilities in Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. In June 2006, the Company completed the acquisition of Tinsley Group-PS&W, Inc. (PS&W).
