TVA Group Inc. (TVA), a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc., is a communications company with operations in three business sectors: television, publishing and distribution. In the Television sector, TVA produces and broadcasts entertainment, information and public affairs programming, in addition to its commercial production and home shopping operations. TVA also holds minority interests in the Canoe Internet portal, the Canal Evasion specialty channel, as well as the Canal Indigo pay-per-view service. In the Publishing sector, TVA produces some 40 consumer magazines. In the Distribution sector, TVA Group owns a catalog of distribution rights that it operates on all media platforms, such as cinema, video, pay and pay-per-view television, as well as specialty and conventional television. On July 30, 2007, the Company acquired Animal Hebdo Inc., a company that publishes Animal magazine.
