Whatever the architecture topology, protocol or budget, there is a First Fibre product to suit.
First Fibre is totally focused on metro and enterprise fibre data solutions. Consequently it understands the particular requirements of that market. This is why many of First Fibre's products are designed for purpose and boast a complete range of Carrier-Class features only seen piecemeal in other products.
The Company is poised for accelerated growth in its target markets within metro data services in the short haul carrier market. Applications include Co-location, Transparent LAN Speed Services, Dark Fibre Management, Corporate Private Links, Storage Area Networks, Server Mirroring and Cloud Tail Circuits.
Many of First Fibre's key clients have been with them for a number of years and are formally seeking to further develop their trading relationship with First Fibre. This is because customers are supported by responsive customer service teams including applications and technical support dedicated to the success of the client.
The Company's background goes back to the late 1980's when the Company very successfully focused its fibre data skills on various fibre based defence projects. These included valuable contributions to the US Navy Safenet projects (early FDDI) and UK MOD Navy Command and Control systems securing significant contracts along the way. The Company built on this fundamental knowledge of optical transmission systems and jitter management to become a respected leader in this field. The Company has made significant contributions to the development of the industry's networking standards partly through its participation in the IEEE Working Groups for over 15 years.
First Fibre's next generation technology is still aimed at the metro data market. This will provide bandwidth solutions through innovative DWDM applications particularly for "last mile" bandwidth intensive customer connections. Talks have already commenced with DWDM equipment houses who will leverage First Fibre's innovative technology.
