  • Audus Noble was established over 40 years ago, and its 80000 sq ft plant in Blyth, Northumberland is one of the best in Europe. It provides packaging solutions for a wide range of customers across many markets, including the mass production of jars for the worldwide confectionery, food, personal care/toiletries and healthcare markets. Basildon based Dines Plastics is seen as a ‘neat fit' for the company, as its high tech plant and workforce of 46 will add to Audus Noble's capabilities and product ranges. Dines Plastics is a second-generation company that was established in 1956 and moved to Basildon in 1982. Keith Stephenson, managing director of Audus Noble Ltd, said: "Dines Plastics has a complimentary product range to ours, and is strong in PET manufacture which is our growth area. Audus Noble will be conducting a business review in the next few weeks to establish the way forward for both companies." Both Audus Noble and Dines Plastics manufacture several ranges of polypropylene and PET jars, ranging from small face cream containers up to large confectionery jars, which are exported worldwide. As well as its standard ranges, Audus Noble has developed an industry-leading bespoke container facility that allows its customers to develop innovative new packaging solutions using the in-house design and tooling team. This has led to many new packaging designs entering the market in the last twelve months. Audus Noble will be exhibiting its new product range at the annual Cosmoprof beauty event. This year, the show, which runs from 1-4 April 2005, will be held in Bologna, Italy, and the Audus Noble stand B10 will be located in hall 19A.
