The AEC may also, with the approval of the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, provide assistance in the conduct of elections and referendums to authorities of foreign countries or foreign organizations. Beneficiaries of these services to date include Namibia, Cambodia, South Africa, Mozambique, and Botswana, among others.
