For over 60 years our goal has been to improve the quality of life and integration into society of all children, regardless of their abilities. We believe in our kids. Both at our flagship project Variety Village, a fitness and life skills facility, and out in the community, we're inspiring children and their families to see their potential and become active and proud of their accomplishments. By offering specialized programs and services, we create a level playing field without barriers, intimidation or other obstacles. This encourages all children to reach for their goals so they can feel comfortable enough to participate in a game of wheelchair basketball, give a motivational speech in front of hundreds of business people, or apply for their first job.
SARC is offering another club running activity to our members! Each Tuesday from 5:30-7:00pm, track workouts will be held at the Stow High School track, located at: 3227 E. Graham Road in Stow, OH 44224. John Roseman, of Progressive Fitness & Athletics is a USA Track & Field Certified Coach and a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer. He has graciously offered his time and expertise to set up a workout pace and time you for $5.00 per session. If you have your own workout and do not want timing services, there is no charge to join SARC members on the track.
The ABC is a recreational and fitness bicycle touring club located in Akron, Ohio, USA. We are fortunate to live near the CVNPâ€"we get to ride there and in the surrounding counties. All our Rides are free and open to the public. You are welcome to check out our ride calendar, on the left. Our club rules state that all riders must wear a certified bicycle helmet.
