RCDT

RCDT is developing 20 Newburn Street as a community resource. This is used to generate an income to support the work of RCDT in the community, and to provide long-term community facilities. RCDT was set up in April 2002 during the Lambeth Riverside Single Regeneration Budget Partnership and aims to continue for the long term benefit of the community in the Lambeth Riverside area. The Partnership work finished on 31 March 2004.

NHTSA

NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) provides consumers with vehicle safety information, primarily front and side crash test results, and more recently rollover ratings, to aid consumers in their vehicle purchase decisions. The test results are relayed to consumers via an easily recognizable star rating system , from one to five stars, with five being the highest. The NCAP crash tests are conducted at speeds higher than required by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for both side impacts, at 62 kilometres per hour, and full frontal barrier impacts, at 56 km/h.

Medical Reserve Corps

The Medical Corps (MRC) Program strengthens communities by helping medical, public health, and other volunteers offer their expertise throughout the year as well as during local emergencies and other times of community need. MRC volunteers work in coordination with existing local emergency response programs and also supplement existing community public health initiatives, such as outreach and prevention, immunization programs, blood drives, case management, care planning and other efforts. The MRC program is administered by HHS.
