Midwest Sustainable Energy Contractors Inc

http://www.midwestsustainable.com

The MSEC Team of engineers, technicians, and contractors brings together the science of energy efficient technology, with a user friendly front end, bringing the best of energy efficiency benefits to within understandable, and therefore usable, reach for the energy minded individual or company. Energy Efficiency is in an explosive growth stage. From increasing comfort at home to increasing the competitiveness of a company, energy plays a part. Government incentives require verification. Builders are modifying their process to be able to meet the specification for rebates, tax incentives and other beneficial results. The MSEC Certification Training Program for Builders and Developers is the road map for the process. The three Principles of MSEC are also founding members of the Illinois Energy Raters Association. This is an official group authorized to measure and certify EPact and ENERGYSTAR Certification Standards. The value of energy efficiency is best understood through Life Cycle Cost Analysis. This is the heart of the MSEC energy modeling services. Life Cycle Cost can determine the economics of a project or energy efficient upgrade on an existing home or commercial building, before the project is started.

National Assembly Sustainable Energy Group

http://www.naseg.co.uk

The National Assembly Sustainable Energy Group (NASEG) is a cross party group of the Assembly Government and Wales's leading forum for sustainable energy issues. NASEG membership is open to all and current members include AMs, civil servants and key stakeholders from industry, academia, NGOs, and statutory bodies. When the National Assembly for Wales is in session, meetings are held monthly to disseminate key information on energy policy, technology, and best practice. The focus of meetings runs from the personal - the impact we can have as individuals (such as the potential for domestic energy saving or personal carbon allowances) to the largest current issue in UK energy - the role of nuclear energy. The principle aims of NASEG are to: Raise awareness of sustainable and renewable energy issues, opportunities and innovations amongst National Assembly Members and staff, and to all Welsh sectors. Assist the development of a Sustainable Energy Policy and Strategy for Wales through the National Assembly.

Icax Limited

http://www.icax.co.uk

ICAX Limited provides a turnkey package for meeting sustainable energy targets on construction projects. We undertake design and installation to ensure that heating and cooling needs are met in a sustainable way. ICAX provides a complete range of services from initial feasibility through delivery, to in use maintenance. ICAX achieves this with Interseasonal Heat TransferÔ - a complementary integration of well tried technologies. ICAXÔ Ltd implements IHTÔ in a wide range of construction projects with a speciality in ground storage of heating and cooling energy using insulated Thermal BanksÔ for interseasonal thermal storage. IHT is a complementary fusion of the two front runners in on site renewable energy: Solar Thermal and Ground Source Heat Pumps. The value of IHT is greater than the sum of Solar Thermal and GSHP - because adding solar heat into the ground before the winter allows a GSHP to realise its full potential with double the efficiency of a GSHP alone. IHTÔ saves over 50% of carbon emissions compared to using a gas boiler for heating. IHTÔ saves over 80% of carbon emissions compared to using standard air conditioning and chillers for cooling. IHT is particularly relevant to contractors bidding for BSF Schools as it is the only convincing way to achieve the targets in the DCSF Building Bulletins without invoking the costs of air conditioning - which are rejected by The Treasury. Although the primary function of IHT is to heat and cool buildings without burning fossil fuels this versatile technology, based on Heat Banks, has had successful trials for the Highways Agency at Toddington in clearing ice from roads using ICAX Asphalt Solar Collectors as part of Solar Road Systems.
