Warsash Maritime Academy offers commercial training and consultancy to the maritime industry. We are now seeking to further strengthen our Professional Studies' team by recruiting an additional full-time lecturer with a strong professional background. Applicants for the position) must possess a UK MCA Deck Officer Certificate of Competency (preferably to Master level) and have experience in a senior role. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of professional and academic Nautical Science subject areas to STCW Master standard, and will also assist in our B.Sc(Hons) teaching. An academic background supported by teaching experience is desirable but not essential as training and a probationary period will be available.
