The Company operates the Muskeg Valley Quarry (MVQ), an early production stage limestone quarry that produces limestone aggregate products for sale to customers in the Athabasca oil sands region of north-eastern Alberta. The Company is engaged in the regulatory approval process for the Hammerstone Project, which would expand the MVQ and add an integrated limestone processing complex to provide manufactured limestone-based products, such as quicklime, as well as related environmental services, such as spent lime recalcining.
