Camdel Metals Corporation

http://www.handytube.com

The Camdel Metals division of Handy & Harman was designed specifically for the production of long seamless stainless steel coiled tubing. Since beginning production in 1981, the facility has been expanded several times to increase capacity and improve overall capabilities. All tube products are true "seamless" tube originating as extruded tube hollows and subsequently cold drawn to specified size. There have been no weld seams, either longitudinal or orbital, in the finished product or at any point in the manufacturing process and all material is solution annealed resulting in a consistent and highly reliable product for the most demanding applications. The long coils originally developed by Handy & Harman were targeted for the oil & gas industry for control lines and chemical injection systems. The coiled tube product has since been used by most major oil companies worldwide as well as many other applications including petrochemical, heat tracing, pharmaceutical, and general instrumentation. Camdel Metals produces the highest quality seamless tubing through cold drawing and solution annealing sequences and is capable of making the longest continuous length seamless coils available. Actual finished lengths vary by diameter and tube wall thickness. The reputation for quality products has been a hallmark of the company for many years and ISO 9001 certification was achieved in 1997. The highly efficient and reliable manufacturing process led to development of additional products to serve many industries including military, aircraft, medical, ultra-high purity/semiconductor, and automotive as well as many specialty applications. Many alloys and specifications are available in both imperial and metric sizes. While some customers purchase specialty tube products directly from Camdel Metals, many standard products are available through pipe and tube distributors throughout North America and in other regions. The addition of on-site sales and engineering support has further enhanced Camdel Metals' commitment to our customers providing timely responses to special projects and support after the sale.
