Gauer Metal Products Inc

http://www.gauermetal.com

Gauer Metal Products, established in 1946 by Walter W. Gauer, has been a leading metal fabricator in the United States for over 60 years. Gauer began working primarily building bakery racks, early gravity flow (or carton flow) shelving, and conveyors. This early work led to the eventual development of the GAUER FLO-RAK line of carton flow shelving systems. Still a leader in the carton flow industry, Gauer's line of Flo-Rak products has maintained its impeccable name by always adhering to the GauerBuilt quality that Mr. Gauer instilled during the company's inception. In an effort to improve his own products, Walter W. Gauer recognized a need for "clean edges." As metal working professionals know, slit coil and sheared plate often have sharp edges and burrs, Mr. Gauer envisioned a machine that would roll these dangerous edges off of his raw material. From this vision the V Series Deburring Machine was born. This machine, pictured here with Mr. Gauer, was a simple yet efficient design when compared to the modern H SERIES GAUER SAFTY EDGERS of today. Over the years Gauer Edging/Deburring Machines have developed an impeccable name throughout metal service centers in both the United States and around the world. Now installed on 6 continents, these GauerBuilt machines have given rise to the industry term GAUER BAR used by metal service centers throughout the world. In our two facilities totaling 70,000 square feet located in Kenilworth, New Jersey we at Gauer Metal provide full service custom metal fabrication including stamping, cutting, bending, welding and machining. Gauer works with all metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and titanium. Gauer Metal's reputation for design, engineering and manufacturing excellence has earned the respect and trust from industry professionals. To maintain that hard-earned respect, every product must meet GauerBuilt standards, these standards meet or surpass the industry needs for longevity and performance. All products produced by Gauer Metal have been designed to satisfy the most stringent demands of Gauer customers. This dedication to engineering excellence, product durability and customer satisfaction makes GauerBuilt products the best choice for today's industry needs.

Jersey Shore Steel Company

http://www.jssteel.com

Jersey Shore Steel Company has produced rail steel angles for over 60 years. Once the rails are reheated and rerolled at our state-of-the-art facility, rail steel becomes even stronger than its original form. The dense grain structure and high carbon content allow the same performance as traditional mild steel with less material. Lighter gauges and smaller leg lengths yield more pieces per ton than mild steel, which means a lower cost per piece. Steel at Jersey Shore Steel is manufactured to precise specifications. Our Product Quality Specifications exceed industry standards, and we guarantee the quality of every high carbon rail steel angle that leaves our facility. The furniture and bedding industries make up the largest component of Jersey Shore Steel angles. However, there is a wide range of industries that utilize and benefit from buying Jersey Shore Steel. To learn more about Jersey Shore Steel's capabilities and how you can benefit contact us today.

Nucor Steel Corp.

http://www.nsutah.com

Nucor is the nation's largest recycler, processing over 10 million tons of scrap steel annually. Nucor's origins are with auto manufacturer Ransom E. Olds, who founded Oldsmobile and then Reo Motor Cars. Through a series of transactions, the company Olds founded eventually became the Nuclear Corporation of America. Nuclear Corporation was involved in the nuclear instrument and electronics business in the 1950's and early 1960's. The company suffered through several money-losing years, and when facing bankruptcy in 1964, installed F. Kenneth Iverson as President and Samuel Siegel as Vice President of Finance. This change in management led to a restructuring and a decision to rebuild the company around the major profitable operations; the steel joist businesses in Florence, South Carolina and Norfolk, Nebraska called Vulcraft. The company moved its headquarters from Phoenix, Arizona to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1966, and expanded the joist business with new operations in Texas and Alabama. Management then decided to integrate backwards into steel making by building its first steel bar mill in Darlington, South Carolina in 1968. In 1972 the company adopted the name Nucor Corporation. Since that time, Nucor has built two more Vulcraft facilities, seven steel mills, and expanded into other steel products. Today, Nucor manufactures carbon and alloy steel in bar, sheet, and structural forms, steel joist and joist girders, steel deck, cold finished steel, steel grinding balls, steel fasteners, metal building systems, and steel bearing products. Nucor Steel of Utah division of Nucor, located 90 miles north of Salt Lake City in the small town of Plymouth, began operations in 1980. Starting with one roller mill processing 500,000 ton of steel annually, Nucor has grown to three mills and processing 1,000,000 tons annually. Products include carbon steel angles, rounds, flats, squares, channels, and reinforcing bars. Nucor specializes in on-time delivery of steel products which assists customers in maintaining the lowest possible inventory levels without sacrificing customer service. Information concerning becoming a Nucor customer can be obtained by e-mail or phone.
