The Italian American Digest is a tabloid newspaper, published quarterly with distributions on St. Joseph's Day, July 4th, Columbus Day, and Christmas. Founded in 1973 by Joseph Maselli, it is the "Italian American Voice of the South" and has a national distribution of over 15,000 copies. It is produced and written by volunteers whose purpose is to promote contributions of Italian Americans and applaud their success which are usually overlooked in the major newspapers and magazines. "National Dirt Digest" is a comprehensive site, that has links for a lot of dirt late model sanctioning organizations and a complete yearly schedule of most all of the major events around the nation. Both of these sites provide a valuable asset to dirt late model racing.... but, I will warn you, that the "4m" site is an open bulletin board, and unfortunately, there are a few "crazies" posting some less than valued information. The site's managers do pretty well in keeping those to a minimum. Typically, however, race results are very reliable.
