Pittsford Musicals Inc

http://www.pittsfordmusicals.org

Pittsford Musicals, Inc., is dedicated to the following objectives: Provide the community with a creative outlet for people interested in theatrical arts. It all began in 1966 as a PTA fundraiser involving Pittsford parents and teachers, but in a few short years Pittsford Musicals incorporated and grew to include people from all over the greater Rochester area. Our crew, actors, singers and dancers volunteer their time and talent because of their shared love of theatre. Provide the community with affordable local entertainment in the form of a musical production. Although there are many venues for entertainment in Rochester, very few offer such a high caliber production put on by friends, family and peers. We have many faithful audience members as well as cast and crew members who return year after year due to the high standards of the organization. Provide monetary and other support to the community. Since its inception, Pittsford Musicals has awarded over $230,000 in scholarships to area high school seniors pursuing studies in the arts. We have also provided technical and financial support to both Pittsford High Schools to help them create their own excellent productions. We are greatly indebted to the Pittsford Central School District for the continued use of their auditorium.

Kimberley Summer Theatre Society

http://www.kimberleysummertheatre.com

Kimberley Summer Theatre Society (founded 1998) produces yearly theatre shows and a summer theatre school in Kimberley BC, a small, scenic town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Our objective is to provide affordable but professional theatre for an international audience of all ages. Every year we produce a stage show (generally a musical comedy for all the family, performed in our local theatre) and a Vaudeville show (a free, half hour variety show, performed outdoors in our city centre). Our shows and school run in July and August, when Kimberley is busy with tourists from all over the world. As a not-for-profit society, we can keep our tickets prices low because of the support of our members, donators, volunteers and local government. Apart from our professional actors, we largely work on a volunteer or semi-volunteer basis.

The artistic direction of K Dance collaborated with Jennie Dotts, Executive Director of ACORN (Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods) and photographer/writer Maurice Duke to produce this work. K Dance regularly combines efforts with other organizations in the area (Firehouse Theatre Project, Barksdale Theatre, Richmond Ballet) to produce innovative projects. Tapestry Theatre Company

http://www.tapestrytheatre.com

Tapestry Theatre Company was formed in 1995 with the idea of keeping the classics alive. That year, we produced Shakespeare's The Taming of a Shrew. Since then, TTC has gone on to produce classical and contemporary works, perform in numerous festivals and feature award-winning original works. In June 1997, Tapestry performed at the Northern Virginia Theatre Alliance One Act Festival and a Judge's Discretionary Award for our portrayal of Longstreet. We also WOW'ed everyone with our condensed version of Twelfth Night -- which was the first time anyone had ever performed Shakespeare at the festival. Tapestry has also been proud to produce a number of plays by local playwright and TTC member Jefferson Morris. He was awarded the Best Original Script and Best Original Production at the 1997 NVTA One Act Festival for his work Promise performed by the Encore Players. In 2003, Tapestry performed The Most Massive Woman Wins at the NVTA One Act Festival and walked away with awards for Best Overall Production and two for Best Supporting Actress. For photos from recent Tapestry Theatre productions (you can even purchase them!), visit the website of Bob Morrison's Bonnie Briar Productions.

Canadian Stage Company

http://www.canstage.com

At The Canadian Stage Company, we are committed to the art of contemporary storytelling in Canada and we never miss an opportunity to salute the artists, creators and directors that make it all possible. Amongst these heroes we include our generous partners, the people behind the stage that help us bring these stories to life. Indeed, without our partners, none of this would be possible. As you may not know, your subscription and ticket payments only cover half of the costs it takes to produce the shows you experience at our theatres. We invite you to join our family and become a partner of the Canadian Stage Company. Please make a donation on your Ticket Order Form. Every little bit helps.
