MOORE Resource Systems

http://www.moorers.com

MOORE Resource Systems is a Spatial Information Management services and software company that develops comprehensive solutions for the Oil and Gas Pipeline market. MOORE's risk and integrity services and products enable thorough assessment of pipeline risk and provide reporting tools for regulatory compliance. MOORE's data conversion services have generated data on thousands of miles of pipeline throughout North America. Our products maintain and distribute data for some of the largest pipeline companies in the business. MOORE provides a comprehensive suite of data conversion and data integration services that include conversion of attribute and graphical data from one electronic format to another, as well as conversion of original paper-based source data into an electronic format. MOORE's PipeWORKS suite of geospatial pipeline management applications provides vendor-neutral, interoperable and scalable solutions for Oil and Gas Pipeline companies. MOORE supports PODSTM, ISAT and custom relational databases and cross-platform GIS solutions. Our team of well-trained and experienced staff provides management and technical expertise to all phases of a GIS project. From data conversion through application design, implementation, enterprise integration, training and support, MOORE is committed to the high standards of excellence required to ensure our solutions have maximum benefit for your company. MOORE's Data Conversion and Data Integration services produce an electronic data set which is robust, flexible and secure. The single most important element in managing data is the data format itself. This is critical to the data's long term value and to the long term cost of your data system. Major structural changes are costly and time-consuming, they are disruptive to operations, and they pose risks to the integrity of the data itself. MOORE Resource Systems has championed the cause of vendor-neutral data standards. We advocate and implement solutions that preserve the long-term value of your data using the PODSTM and ISAT data models, and also implement custom relational databases to meet specific client needs. MOORE offers a comprehensive suite of data conversion and integration services. Our approach to data conversion guarantees your data is secure. Your data never leaves North America, and in fact, while we are processing it your data does not leave our office. All of our data conversion work is done in our own data conversion facility. MOORE's conversion services include: Conversion from one electronic data format such as Microsoft ExcelTM files, Microsoft AccessTM files or AutoCADTM drawing files to an OracleTM or SQL ServerTM database. AutoCADTM drawing file graphic data converted to Oracle SpatialTM and ESRI ArcSDETM. Paper-to-electronic conversion, which starts with original source data in paper format and results in a complete electronic data set in a database and data model that conforms to your requirements. Advice from our experienced staff on data structures to ensure you derive maximum value from converted data. MOORE Resource Systems' data conversion and data integration solutions enable powerful new tools in asset and facility data management. An electronic data set in a vendor-neutral structure removes the obstacles imposed by data on paper and by data in proprietary formats and protects against the loss and damage than can affect paper records. Spatial information management is a challenge. Information must be meaningful throughout the enterprise, it must be up-to-date, and it must conform to regulatory standards. Together with these requirements, data management costs must be contained. MOORE Resource Systems knows how to manage these challenges. Our track record speaks volumes: our clients applaud us for our flexible, responsive, cost-effective approach. MOORE also provides information engineering services to the Telecommunications and Electric & Gas Utility industry through its parent company, Enghouse Systems Limited. Founded in 1983, MOORE was acquired by Enghouse in April of 2002. Enghouse is a publicly traded software company with its shares listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX:ESL). MOORE's head office is located in the Toronto area, with branch offices in Houston, Texas and Calgary, Alberta.

ENKON Information Systems Inc

http://www.enkon.com

ENKON Information Systems was originally formed in 1997. ENKON's objective was to deliver information management tools to environmental managers through innovative software solutions. Through 20 years of environmental consulting experience witnessing the manual tracking of information management processes, ENKON's cofounders believed that computerization of these processes would improve an organization's long-term environmental performance. ENKON's first product, EasyMapÔ, was a stand-alone software solution primarily used in the railway industry. EasyMapÔ managed environmental information along rail corridors. With its powerful mapping functionality, it was ideally suited for corridor management. As corporations started to accept the Internet and increased bandwidths became more readily available, ENKON created a web version of EasyMapÔ. This was deployed in 1998. The use of the system expanded from railway asset and railway corridor management to other types of industries, focusing particularly on facility management. Functionality expanded significantly from 1998 to 2003, with a new module added almost every year. In 2003, a new software product was launched, enviroLIS, which significantly expanded the system's capabilities into land and land asset management. This was a natural extension to our environmental management package as so much information is common to land and environmental managers. Today, through enviroLIS, ENKON offers comprehensive software packages in Environmental and Land management. Both these can be integrated with our high-end mapping package, EasyMapÔ. Our objective remains to deliver leading-edge information management tools to our broadening customer base. Our growth in the future will be in the areas of environmental health and safety.
