Photovoltaic panels

Solatec LLC

http://www.solatecllc.com

Solatec is now offering the patent-pending automotive photovoltaic panel kit, complete with control circuits, to dealerships and installation centers. Plans are in the works to create similar systems for other hybrid electric vehicles. You can see the photovoltaic modules in action, looking just like racing stripes, on the rooftop of Howie's Toyota Prius.

CentennialSolar is a Canadian-based company evolving in the photovoltaic industry. As an eco-friendly company, our goal is to promote the use of renewable energy sources; more precisely we are committed to solar-powered systems. Benefiting from already available components from accross the globe, our company is positioned as an integrator for the design of low-cost energy solutions. Using best-of-breed components from accross the world (Germany, Italy, USA, Canada, etc), we manufacture solar panels that are amongst the most efficient on the marketplace today. Our manufacturing plant can produce solar panels in the range of as little as 5 watts, up to 250 watts. Some of our panels have the IEC 61215 certification therefore we use materials that insure lightweight and rubustness in extreme conditions. We offer both Polychrystalline and Thin Film modules, based on what our clients require. In order to better serve the marketplace, we also offer custom panels for projects requiring specific orders.

EPV SOLAR Inc

http://www.epv.net

EPV's manufacturing process is among the lowest cost commercially demonstrated processes, resulting in low cost modules and low cost electricity. Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) modules produced by EPV provide more electricity per rated watt than single crystalline silicon. a-Si modules have higher output per rated watt in higher temperature conditions and produce more power on cloudy days in low light conditions than traditional single crystalline silicon. EPV Modules have a uniform, dark color that is aesthetically appealing, can be made partially transparent and are frameless, which eliminates the need for individual module grounding and alleviates rainwater "damming" and sediment buildup Raw materials are abundant and readily available world wide EPV offers several varieties of thin film modules based upon proprietary manufacturing technology with specially designed equipment for the production of quality, low cost, modules. The modules are ideal for rooftop, freestanding and building integrated (BIPV) applications. EPV modules can be found in numerous installations such as 4 Times Square, Philadelphia school of the future, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, to name a few. Our scientists and engineers have experience with the design and construction of fourteen thin-film PV manufacturing facilities. EPV's research and development efforts include Copper Indium Gallium Diselenide ("CIGS") technology and nano-crystalline silicon ("n-Si") technology.
