Suncor Energy Products Inc.

http://www.lequelenec.com

Suncor Energy is one of the largest integrated energy companies in Canada, including the Sunoco Retail gasoline network in Ontario, the Phillips 66 gasoline network in Colorado, refineries in Sarnia, Ontario and Denver, Colorado, multiple pipeline operations across North America, wind power partnerships with Enbridge Energy and one of Canada's largest oil sands Mining, Extraction and Upgrading operations in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Originally working with the Sunoco eBusiness group, I was the Webmaster for developing the original Sunoco.ca website, an information and eBusiness site that provided the main online presence for the Sunoco Retail network in Canada. This site also provided one of the worlds only real time gasoline price monitors and answered the question "How do you sell gas online?" with WebGas, a completely new way of purchasing gasoline. As Sunoco.ca operations were transitioned to the Marketing group, I moved to the Suncor Energy Products Business Intelligence group. This involved development of intranet and portal applications to support business initiatives. Major projects included the Retailer Portal, a self serve environment for Retail managers, Customers Made Real, an internal training program and the implementation of Plumtree, an Enterprise Portal solution. After independant research in mobile and wireless applications I was asked to lead the introduction of Research In Motion Blackberry technology within Suncor. This involved introducing Research In Motion Blackberry Enterprise Server and Blackberry devices enterprise wide and the development of a new mobile application for Strive For Excellence, a Sunoco program for tracking retail site operation and brand compliance. This was one of the first deployments of the RIM Mobile Data Service architecture in Canada.

Nigeria is the Africa's largest oil producer and will continue to be so as deepwater discoveries come on stream.
