We sell over a hundred products including: grease, gear oil, motor oil, hydraulic oil, torque fluids, chain & cable lube, compressor oil and fuel additives. We sell by demonstration, showing how our products will reduce maintenance, downtime, product consumption, and lower operating costs. No major oil company can compare to Primrose and our demonstrations prove it! Once the sale is made, the order is shipped directly to the customer. You are not involved with credit checking or collection. Your time is spent selling, working with distributors, and servicing accounts. Commissions and new account bonus are paid weekly. In 1978, Hicks Oils built a dedicated lubricant blending facility in DuQuoin, IL. From the beginning we have dedicated ourselves to providing quality products and a level of service to our customers that surpasses every expectation. Today our company produces a full line of lubricants including engine oils, hydraulic fluids and gear lubricants for customers throughout the United States and around the globe. The operation has continued to expand over its 25-year history and the facility now encompasses over 110,000 square feet of production and warehouse space with indoor bulk storage for more than 1,000,000 gallons of oil. The entire plant has been designed utilizing dedicated piping, pumps and meters to ensure product integrity throughout the production process. Product segregation to this level is virtually unheard of in this industry. Additionally, Hicks Oils performs a complete quality analysis at each step in the production process as part of the plant-wide quality control system. To perform this testing, Hicks Oils maintains a fully equipped laboratory and a staff including a chemical engineer. Their expertise is available to customers for assistance with individual oil formulation. The lab is capable of performing a full array of tests ranging from X-ray fluorescence analysis to cold crank simulation. This allows us to meet virtually any customer's testing requirements. Hicks Oils utilized five separate filling lines to give us the ability to fill any size container from a few ounces to 55 gallon drums. The high-speed quart filling line is capable of 330 quarts per minute and includes an automated case packer, palletizer and stretch wrapper. Bulk products can be provided in totes, tank trucks and rail cars. Shipping container loading is available for our overseas customers. To ensure the highest level of quality to our customers Hicks Oils has always had a plant wide quality program. Hicks Oils is an ISO 9001:2000 certified facility. Steve is a proud father and very active in charitable activities in his community. He works out of Phoenix, AZ - but travels the entire West Region to assist customers and recommend cost savings solutions. Dick Clark joins D-A after a long professional career including time with SAE. He is a licensed CLS and has the energy to maintain a busy schedule in the field working with Customers, Prospects and Field Reps. Dick covers the north central part of the US, from Indiana west through the Dakotas and as far south as Oklahoma. Steve Waggoner has been with D-A Lubricant Company, Inc. in various positions since 1967. He has worked in Laboratory Services, Quality Control, Technical Services; and currently provides in-house technical assistance via phone. He has an extensive knowledge of manufacturers' requirements for lubricant fluids as well as real world experience observing what works. He also administers D-A Quality Systems Control, enabling D-A to maintain our ISO 9000-2001 status. Steve has four children and three grandchildren. Outside of D-A, Steve enjoys outdoor activities with the grandkids and stamp collecting. Steve has been active in Boy Scouts since he was old enough to become one.
