The VanDerAa Group quickly grew to become the largest privately held contract transportation company in the United States. Founded by Mike VanDerAa in 1925, the VanDerAa Group was the first company permitted to privatize public transportation in the Netherlands.
VanDerAa Group's affiliated entities (ATC, Intelitran and ShuttlePort) provide management and operation of fixed route public transit systems, operation and management of paratransit services, as well as operation and management of various university, hospital and other shuttle systems. Though Van Der Aa Mobility Group operates in 21 different states (at over 56 locations), the only area of the country where we provide highly specialized charter services is in the Chicagoland area.
