The Metro Flying Club was formed in 1958 to provide safe, low cost flying for both students and experienced pilots. The Club is a nonprofit organization, with a Board of Directors elected annually by the general membership. Flying is a rewarding experience which we hope can be enhanced by your association with the Metro Flying Club.
Metro's next Board meeting will be held at the old Metro hangar on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 7:00 PM.
The agenda will consist of "What to do with Metro as a corporation"?
As of August 20, 2006, Metro Flying Club has ceased to exist as a non equity flying club. The last two remaining airplanes have been sold or are for sale.
There has been a move to change it to an equity flying club, but as of this writing nothing has developed.
