Moore-McLean Corporate Insurance Ltd. was established in 1975 by partners Fred McLean and George Moore. Their goal was to create a commercial-focused brokerage that prided itself on integrity, ethics and quality relationships with clients, suppliers and employees. We believe and are proud that these goals were realized and some of the first clients of Moore-McLean are still valued clients today! This solid foundation has continued through the evolution of our firm for more than 30 years and across two generations of insurance professionals. The brokerage's saddest day was the loss of its co-founder, Fred McLean. Fred passed away suddenly in 2001 at which time his daughter, Tracy McLean, became President and subsequently Fred's son, Daryn McLean, became President in 2005 continuing the McLean legacy.
Priding ourselves on our history, today we are one of the largest independently owned insurance brokers in Canada. Our business partners include some of the best insurers in the world. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto on Yonge Street, we offer national specialized expertise in a variety of business classes, national association & group programs and include a full-service Group Benefit and Financial Services department.
Our people are our strength. We currently have a staff of 40 employees in our Toronto Head Office with the majority holding a CIP or CAIB professional insurance designation.
