Orkney Islands Council is committed to providing the best services possible for the people of Orkney. We are also committed to publicly accounting for how well we provide these services.
This is our third Annual Performance Report, and in it we try to show how well we performed over 2005 and 2006.
To do this we looked at the statutory performance information about all Scottish Councils which Audit Scotland publish on their website each year, and also report on the progress we have made on the key actions set out in the Council's Corporate Strategic Plan 2005/08.
