We use only compost made right here to fertilize our gardens. We keep things chemical free, because the chickens roam the gardens in the summer time. This means we loose some crops to bugs but, the chickens eat it!
We are located north east of Des Moines Iowa. Everything we grow is sold on a person to person basis, not to stores or farm markets.

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am the owner of Daisy Hills Organic Farm. I am a work-at-home mom with a degree in Elementary Education. I am wife to Jim and mother to four lively boys; Alec, Ethan, Jacob and Luke, stepmom to Justin. This is the first year of homeschooling our oldest son, Alec. Our family lives on over 2 acres outside of Dowagiac. We have one dog, 3 kittens, 1 cat, 35 hens, 1 rooster, 10 heritage turkeys, 3 guineas, 3 ducks, 3 baby ducks, 3 rabbits, 2 geese, 10 baby chicks and 2 feeder pigs. We grow our own herbs in 8 different gardens and we are expanding these every year.
